John Gentle is a singer and a songwriter. He plays electro acoustic lead guitar and a bit of piano. A graduate from Nsukka University, Nigeria. He has written so many songs in different languages including Spanish, Portuguese, Filipino, swahili and many others. In April 2023, John Gentle released his debut single titled “Step by Step”

Early this year, John Gentle decided to participate in the LIS Season 10 gospel competition. Most impressively, he scaled through all the auditions making it to the top 10 finalist.

At the second round of the competition, John Gentle stepped up his game, and therefore won the competition with his outstanding performance leaving the judges and the audience in awe.

John Gentle won the competition with a whooping 3000 euro cash prize, Yippee!!!
