Hey guys, Yesterday was a big war of talents among the LIS top 10 contestants. They performed their best and gave their all, so that the judges had a tough time picking their top qualifiers.
The event started with a brilliant performance by Brian Houston, a renown artist from Belfast., who has released his 32nd album. Brian Houston has gained outstanding profile and recognition over the years.
Following Brian Houston’s performance was Favour, the winner of LIS S6. Part of Favour’s wining prize was a single record deal, which was put on hold due to Covid 19, but all thanks to God her debut single was completed and launched on this day.
She first performed it at the LIS S8 grand finale, what an amazing performance!!! The song will be published on all major social media platforms including Spotify, ITunes, Amazon etc
In no particular order the Top 10 finalists that performed yesterday were:

After all the contestants have performed, only the top 5 went through to the 2nd round. It wasn’t an easy decision as the judges had to go through a rigorous process to scrutinize and review the scores for each of the contestants before making an informed verdict.
At the opening of the 2nd round of the competition, we only had 5 finalists this time. The tension everywhere was heightened as it was uncertain who the winner could possibly be!
The event was supposed to start with an opening performance by Timothy Reddick and Blessing Ajieh ( The winner of LIS S7) unfortunately the both were not available as at the time they were slated. However, the event went on as the teeming audience couldn’t wait any longer to know who the winner of the LIS S8 would be.
Ok let’s fast forward to the end of the competition… After all the top 5 have performed their 2nd song, it was left in the hand of the judges to collate their scores and announce the winner, indeed we got the winner at the end of the day.
